    Officer Installation

    Tomorrow is the Officer Installation Ceremony. Unlike when we served in the military, there is no rank in the American Legion. All members are considered equal, and that is how it should be since this is a volunteer organization. That said, there is an honor associated with being elected to serve in an officer position. We don't get promoted, we get elected. And more importantly, we are elected by our peers, the members of the Post. Being an officer in the Legion does n
