Thanksgiving Holiday

The Thanksgiving holiday is a time for most of us to celebrate and enjoy our families and our friends. It is a time of turkey dinners with all the fixing. Families will gather around the table and enjoy being together.

Let us remember that it can also be a very difficult time for some of our fellow veterans. There are many veterans who have no family to celebrate with. And unfortunately there are many veterans who are homeless. For those veterans, the Thanksgiving holiday can be a time of deep depression, sadness, and overwhelming grief.

Let all of us try to reach out to these veterans. Let us help them and give them encouragement. Let us make sure that these veterans know that someone cares. Let us make this a true Thanksgiving holiday.
