At this time of year, we all tend to become very busy. By now most of the shopping is done, and last minute wrapping is finishing up. The kids are excited to see all the presents under the tree. People may be travelling to be with family. And although it can be hectic, there is an excitement and a sense of joy.
I would like to take just a moment to wish all of you, your families, and your friends a Very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Holidays. It is a time of joy and celebration.
As we celebrate, please take a moment to remember those men and women who are in the Armed Forces. Many of them can not be home for the holidays. Many of them will not be with their families. Take a moment to remember those veterans who have served and are suffering from physical and mental illnesses. They paid a price for serving and protecting us, Our freedoms and liberties are a gift, and in many ways it has been given to us by those who have served or are serving. Please remember them at this festive time of year.
I wish for Peace, Joy, and Happiness for all of you!
For God and Country
